Volume 29 Issue 2 October 25, 1999 New SGA Officers The Wilkes Community College Student Government Associa tion recently held freshman class officer elections for the 1999- 2000 school year. The SGA officially represents the student body and is responsible for coordinating a variety of educa tional, social, community service, cultural and recreational events for students. The following people were elected to a posi tion within the SGA. Christopher Hurley, elected freshman class president, is a gradu ate of the GED program at WCC. He is enrolled in the As sociate in Arts program. Amy Wyatt, elected freshman class vice-president, is a graduate of Alleghany High School. Amy is the daughter of Roger and Linda Wyatt and she is enrolled in the Associate in Arts program.
