A note for anyone interested: the Pool Tournament has been postponed until January. The night students were able to enjoy four nights of pizza during our Night Owl Socials, Monday, November 8* thru Thursday, No vember 11*. Bowling anyone? Last year, we tried chicken bowling; on Tuesday, November 16'*' we moved on up to turkey bowling. If you tried it, you know it is not easy. Give a pat on the back to our winners: 1®' place-Jonathan Worley, 2"“* place-Casey Clodfelter, & 3'^'* place- Brandon Chavers. Even if you did not bowl, 1 hope you took advantage of the free apple pies and hot apple cider that were being given away. Various WCC clubs sponsored each housekeeper by making signs showing , our gratitude. They also presented them with a small token of appreciation for every thing they do. ¥m Forget turkey, think chocolate and/or fhiit candy. Thanksgiving treat bags were given away to students on Tuesday, November 23’^'*. Our Angel Tree is now up in the Student Center lobby. Anyone wishing to obtain the name of a child, please pick one off the tree. Christmas gift ideas are listed. If you haven’t already picked up your ticket for the Charlotte Hornets Wheelchair Basketball Game happening on Monday, Decem ber 6* at 6:30, hurry and get one today. See Scott Johnson in Student Services or just ask an SGA member where you can get a ticket. All proceeds from ticket sales will be given to the team for their travel expenses. Come on out and just enjoy the game or perhaps you may want to play in the half-time show. Either way, it’s going to be an exciting night of hoops, cheers, and talent. The culinary program will be preparing a variety of scrumptious desserts to tantalize the tastebuds on Tuesday, December 7'*’. Stop by the Student Commons to enjoy some sweets between classes. Our Holiday Craft Workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, December 8'*’. Due to funding and the type of craft being done, space is limited, so sign-up early for a session. If you do sign-up, then please attend the session.
