plagued by all the usual comic misadventures. This movie is based on the
popular manga (comic) and graphic novels by Rumiko Takahashi. Crisp
animation, humor, and fast paced action will keep you on the edge of your
seat. Even if you have no idea what Ranma 1/2 is, check out this movie --
it's a great way to start learning what anime’ is all about.

It's just another quiet day at the "Tendo Anything-Goes Martial Arts Training Hall," -
if your idea of "quiet" is a near riot in the street and the place being wrecked by an ele
phant with one heck of a battle aura, that is. After the elephant incident a strange girl
named Lychee arrives -- she is the owner of the giant elephant, Jasmine. Lychee has
come from China to settle an old score with the small but spunky panty thief Happosai.
A long time ago Happosai gave Lychee's great-grandmother half of a scroll and prom
ised her that the legendary scroll guaranteed to bring happiness to whoever is holding
it. When Akane picks the scroll up to examine it a flying ship drops down from the
skies; and the people on the ship
