First released in Japan in 1994 it was then released in the US in 1999. Sailor Moon S : The Movie starts with the scouts being on Christmas vacation. All seems well enough but you and I both know that the peace will not last for long. Deep in space, a beautiful but vampire-like female snow-spirit that embodies death by freezing is coming toward Earth. Her plan is to freeze Earth and everything on it, and add it to her collection, and she sends groups of living ice-maidens called Snow Dancers down to begin her conquest. Everyone is oblivious to this except for a handsome young astronomer named Kakeru. For he has seen the comet that the snow princess is traveling on, and he names her Princess Kaguya. When the Snow Dancers begin to attack Tokyo, the sailor scouts begin to fight back! The first encounter takes place in the city, with the Sailors battling the Snow Dancers in three groups (Inner Sailors, Outer Sailors, and Sailor Moon/Chibi-Moon/Tuxedo Mask). While the Sailors de feat the first Snow Dancer attack, this is only a preliminary skirmish. What will happen in the end? Watch the movie and find out! *language *violence * ^„^^-^(Candy, Flying Ships, and Kidnappers) " Sailor Moon SuperS ♦Pioneer *Subtitled VHS *60 mins S $24.95 *Color *Uncut *Not Rated *Parental Guidance Suggested The third and final movie of the Sailor Moon series is entitled Sailor Moon SuperS: The Movie: Gathering of the Nine: Miracle of the Black Dream Hole. This movie was originally released in Japan in 1995 and was re-released in America in 1999. The lay out of the story is based on the German myth of the Pied Piper. The movie even begins in Germany when children begin to mys teriously vanish. This is happening all over the world, and when the kidnappers come to Japan and Chibi-Usa (Rini) is among the children snatched, the Sailors are on the case. However, a boy named Peruru balks at kidnapping children. He is one of four fairies who live in the dreams of children, enlisted by wicked Queen Valdian. In hot pursuit of the ship taking Rini away, the five Inner Sailors persuade Peruru to take them on his own flying ship to Queen Valdian's colossal hovering base in the clouds. And while fighting the other three fairies who should appear... Sailor Neptune, Sailor Uranus, and Sailor Pluto! The dream-fairies and their monsters are easily dispatched and now it is eight Sailors and Peruru against the evil queen. Will the scouts and their new friend be able to rescue Chibi-Usa? Or will everyone be sucked into the black dream hole? Watch the movie and find out for yourself!
