Cougar Cry 10 WCC CRIME AWARENESS REPORT Wilkes Community College is concerned about the safety and welfare of all students, faculty, staff, and guests. The college is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for eve ryone. The cooperation and involvement of students and employees in crime prevention and safety programs is a vital part of this effort. Everyone is requested to assist the college with campus safety by reporting suspicious behaviors or actions to college personnel. Personal safety and protection of property is the responsibility of each individual. WCC security personnel re cord statistics on reported crimes on campus according to the methods, standards, and defini tions provided by the Uniform Crime Reporting System of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
