Dr. Sprinkle believes a good leader has
certain aspects, such as the willingness and
ability to listen, the ability to make decisions,
and the ability to encourage people. Mr. Sprin
kle also believes that In order for him to be a
successful leader In all aspects of his life, he
needs to always clarify what he needs to adhere
to. Aspects that Dr. Dean Sprinkle believes he
should adhere to are his values.
Dr. Dean Sprinkle believes WCC has a
wonderful Student Services. In fact, during the
brief period I spent time with him, he could only
think of one aspect In which WCC could Improve.
The aspect I am referring to Is more financial aid
employees.
Dr. Sprinkle Is very excited about his
new Job as the dean of student services, hope
fully his excitement will continue to grow
throughout the years. Dr. Sprinkle’s quote is,
“This time like all times. Is a good one. If we but
know what to do with It.”
Dr. Sprinkle Is a friendly, kind, and
happy man, and I am sure that he will be a mar
velous leader for the Student Services at Wilkes
Community Collegel I feel this way because his
favorite quote exudes the outlook of an optimis

On whether astrology is “good or bad”: I
don’t believe that “things” are Inherently good or
evil, but are what people make of them.
During my Interviews I learned what It takes to
become a successful leader and realized that
good leadership is vital for anyone or anything to
be successful! It Is my hope and plan to apply
ail of these concepts to my life and become a
better leader, and I hope everyone else who
reads this does the same.
