♦ A tractor Is NOT an all-terrain vehicle. They do
get stuck.
♦Tea Is appropriate for all meals, and you start
drinking It when you're two.
♦'Jeet? Is actually a phrase meaning "Did you
eat?"
♦ People actually grow and eat okra.
♦ Unknown critters love to dig holes under
tomato plants.
♦It Is not a shopping cart; It Is a buggy.
♦ “FIxInto” Is one word.
Get Carded at the WCC Library

If you haven’t had your Library Card/Student ID
made yet, now is the time! Come discover all the
wonderful things your library holds. A Wilkes Com
munity College library/identification card is your
ticket to books, videos, the Internet, and many cam
pus events. Stop by the WCC library and pick up
your card today. Just bring your registration informa
tion to the library from 8:00 am till 11:00 am and
1:00 pm till 6:00 pm, Monday through Thursday,
and 8:00 am till 11:00 am and 2:00 pm till 4:30 pm
on Friday. For more information, call the Learning

and then come get your books between classes or
whenever you have time. Go to www.wilkescc.edu/
library and choose Online Catalog (Webcat). You
can also research magazine, journal, and newspaper
articles, and more from home using NCLIVE. Sim
ply email a librarian or go by the library for a pass
word and log onto www.nclive.org. It’s fast, simple
and you can get full text articles right at home! For
