FRESHMAN MARSHALS ANNOUNCED 3
FOR WCC COMMENCEMENT
Wilkes Community College announces the freshmen
with top academic standings who have been named as
marshals for the 2005 commencement exercise to take
place on Tuesday, May 17. The graduation ceremony
will begin at 5:00 p.m. at the Doc and Merle Watson
Theatre located on the campus of the college, and will
include celebration of the college’s fortieth anniver
sary. The following students were selected for this
honor.
Stephanie Arlene Anderson, a student in
the Business Administration-Concentration
in Marketing and Retailing program, is a
2000 graduate of Statesville High School.
> Her parents are Mike and Arlene Anderson
of Statesville, and her spouse is Ron Elliot
Bass.
] Bradford William Gambill, a student
in the Heavy Equipment and Trans-
’ port Technology program, is a 2004
j graduate of Alleghany High School.
He is the son of Bobby and Rebecca
Gambill of Sparta.
I Tina Hart Ham, of Lansing, is a student
in the Associate Degree Nursing pro-
' gram. She attended Ashe Central High
School and received her Adult High
School Diploma in 2003. Tina is the
daughter of Mary Rose Munsey of Glen
dale Springs and Danny Michael Hart of
Laurel Springs. She is married to Mat
thew Keith Ham. They have two children, Luke and
Jackson.
Cassandra Ann Bare, of Jefferson, is
the daughter of Nedia Pearl Bare of
Jefferson. She graduated from Ashe
County High School in 2004. She is a
student in the Associate in Science
program.
Brandon Scott Caton, a 2003 graduate of
Luray High School in Virginia, is a stu
dent in the Heavy Equipment and Trans
port Technology program. He is the son
of Crystal Lynn Stellmach of North
Wilkesboro.
Bobby Joe Edwards is the son of Rich
ie ard and Cathy Edwards of Sparta. He
^ is a 2004 graduate of Alleghany High
School, and is a student in the Heavy
I Equipment and Transport Technology
j I program.
Tasha Laurette Eldreth, of Lansing, is a
student in the Associate in Arts program.
She graduated from Ashe County High
School in 2004. Tasha is the daughter of
Michael J. and Dianne J. Eldreth.
Emily Nicole Hayes is a student in the
Horticulture Technology program. She
is a 2002 graduate of Ashe County High
School. Emily is the daughter of Bur-
man Kyle Hayes. She resides in Grum
pier with her daughter, Kaylee.
Paul Michael McCabe, of Ferguson, is a
1980 graduate of Muskegon Catholic
Central in Muskegon, Michigan. He is a
student in the Criminal Justice Technol
ogy program. He is the son of William
James and Peg Margaret McCabe of
Muskegon, Michigan. He has two chil
dren, Sarah and Ellie.
Allen Dale McManus attended Wilkes
Central High School and received his
i GED from Wilkes Community College in
'jd 1992. He is a student in the Accounting
and Business Administration Technology
programs. He is the son of Rebecca C.
I Baldwin of North Wilkesboro. Allen is
married to Brandy Cleary McManus and
they have three children, Lori, Allen, and Jonathan.
^ Tonia Perkins is a student in the Business

ing and Retailing program. She graduated
from Wilkes Central High School in
1990. Tonia is the daughter of Ann Per-
I kins and the late Tony Perkins of Wilkes-
! boro. She has two children, Nathan and
Ashley Reavis.
