Elected At Wilkes
Community College
The Wilkes Community College Student Government
Association recently held officer elections for the
2005-2006 school year. The SGA officially represents
the student body and is responsible for coordinating a
variety of educational, social, community service, and
recreational events for students. The following people
were elected to a position within the SGA.
Brandon Bess, president-elect and enrolled in the As
sociate in Science Program, is from North Wilkesboro.
Steven Canter, vice president-elect and enrolled in the
Electrical/Electronics Technology Program, is from
Wilkesboro.
Stacie Smith, secretary/treasurer-elect and enrolled in
the Medical Assisting Program, is from Wilkesboro.
Autumn Cleary, public information officer-elect and
enrolled in the Associate in Arts Program, is from
Hays.
Meleah Gambill, programming chairperson-elect and
enrolled in the Dental Assisting Program, is from
North Wilkesboro.
Sheila Hamby, programming chairperson-elect and
enrolled in the Paralegal Technology Program, is from
Boomer.
Kathy Howell, programming chairperson-elect and
enrolled in the Office Systems Technology Program, is
from Millers Creek.
David Payne, programming chairperson-elect and
enrolled in the Electrical/Electronics Technology Pro
gram, is from North Wilkesboro.
