The WCC Intercultural
Club celebrated Diversity
Awareness Month by
hosting an Inaugural Ball.
Instead of holding the

club president, Yessenia

3-4 hours to “kick in”. People
may take more thinking that it
simply isn’t working. Then they
may go to sleep and never
wake up.
Drug overdose is serious.
In 2008 more people died
from prescription drugs than
from illegal drugs. In 2009
it is expected to cause more
fatalities than car accidents.
With 12 deaths so far in Wilkes
County alone, it’s well on its
way. Let’s work together to
spread awareness and stop
prescription drug overdose.
