4 ALUMNI NOTES. Thinking that quite a few of the Alumni and Old Students would be interested in knowing just who was present at the ban quet in Greensboro on February 20th, it has been deemed advisable to append below a list of the guests. A slight examination of the list will reveal the fact that twenty-one of the twenty-six classes which have graduated from Guilford were represented at the banquet, a fact which be speaks the truly representative character of the gathering. S. Sellars. WEBSTERIAN NOTES. The Websterians had a good society Friday night. Most all the fellows were out and a good program was rendered. The most interesting number was a debate: "Resolved, that the short ballot should be adopted in state, count v and municipal elections." The af Urinative was represented by J. \V. McCall, A. L. Riddick and D. S. Coltrane, while the negative was defended by Fred Morris, W. A. Julian and Ralph Yow. The question was one of interest to all. Each speaker showed a good knowledge of the subject and got into the discussion and made it it heated one. Mr. Brown as critic for the evening commended the debate and encouraged the new men in their tight for the improvement medal to be given this spring. THE .GUILFORDIAN PERSONALS. .Mr. IT. A.
