Earl Maloney revealed a new symp tom of the disease when he collapsed into the House of Seven Gables the night before his speech, on the insist ence of Dr. Gilbert. Nurse Corky, it was understood, held his hand until 10 that night, preparing him for the dread ed operation, while Dr. Gilbert stayed within earshot. During the epidemic which swept Philosophy 104, James Cornette, suf fering acutely with the symptoms, and wishing to do one last good deed before his collapse, gave to Spinoza the credit for the speech which he had prepared. According to Dr. Gilbert, the epidemic has not, as yet, run its course, and many students will probably be suf fering from its effects. With the added handicap of spring fever which usually strikes the cainj)us about this time, it is feared the victim's resistance will be further weakened. Up to this time, there have been 110 fatalities, and it is hoped that this good record can be pre served. Mrs. Milner To Speak On Tuesday.
