Dr. Hart Lectures Psychology Classes Dr. Hornell Hart of the Duke University faculty has been the guest speaker for Mrs. Milner's Psychology 21 class. He has been using as his topic, Emotional Maturity in College. The idea be hind his topic is that emotional maturity can be taught in college. His lectures have also covered ways of imporving one's person GUILFORD COLLEGE, FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 1955 ality and mood metus. Dr. Hart was born August 2, 1888 in St. Paul, Minnesota. He has received most of his education from the University of Wisconsin and the State University of lowa. He was married on January 4, 1915 to Miss Ella Brockhausen. Dr. Hart has been the Professor of Sociology at Duke University since 1938. To be selected for this honor is one of the highest attainments one can receive during his college career. Candidates are chosen on the basis of character, service to the school, leadership and practical qualities, contribution to extra-curricular activities, scholarship, and poten tial usefulness to business and so ciety. Ketchel Adams, a sociology ma jor, was vice-president of his class his sophomore year, played base ball and football, has been on the Honor Roll and served on the Stu dent Council. Originally from El kin, he received the William Over man Scholarship and is chairman of the Honor Boai-d.
