at their meeting on January 7th.
The club was organized just this
year for history majors and has
about forty members. Chick Traf

and Dr. Ntfwlin act as sponsors.
On Sunday night, December 11,
members of the F. T. A. were
guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bailey at
a buffet supper given in the Bailey
home.
After the meal, a report was
made by the nominating commit

the candidates named for presi

elected were Ruby Sheffield, pre
sident, and Merle Shelton, Vice
president.
Immediately following the bus
iness session, Evelyn Cline, ac

"Sweet little Jesus Boy" and
"Have Yourself a Merry, Merry
Christmas".
The feature of the evening was
Dr. Tomlinson's review of Virgin

of Miss Gildersleeves work as
Dean of Barnard College.
The final activity was the sing
ing of carols by the group.
