This year Kaye is a marshall, treasurer of the WAA, and a cheerleader (for the third year). She is a member of the Wesleyan Fellowship, has been in the SCA and on the Quaker staff, and she was secretary of her Sophomore class. Kaye is a rising Senior. She has been on the Social Committee two years and in the Wesley Foundation two years. This year she is one of the marshals. Her major is Educa tion. He is pres ently chief mar shal, a mem- ber of the Collegiate Civitan Club, and of the Young Friends. Charlie is a math major, is on the Honor Board and is president of the Junior Class. Daryl Kent to Speak About Hobbes at March 27 Lecture Dr. Daryl Kent of the Religion and Philosophy Department will speak in the College Union on March 27. He will discuss Thomas Hobbes. The main emphasis of the lecture will concern Hobbes' the ory of man and his political philos ophy. Dr. Kent will limit his dis cussion to Hobbes' book, "The Le viathan." This is a continuation of the Fri day evening lectures. There will be a discussion period followed by refreshments after the lecture. THE GUILFORDIAN Nominees Chosen For IRC Offices Nominees for the presidency of the IRC are Miriam Almaguer and Giap Vu. Miriam is a Cuban stu dent whose home is now in Miami, Florida. She has been in the IRC two years. She is presently acting as president of the Spanish Club. Miriam has been a member of the Young Friends group, and the choir for two years. Last year she was on the WAA cabinet, the Freshman Chapel Committee, and the Guilfortlian staff. She is a math major. Giap Vu is a new student here this year. His home is in Vietnam. Giap is interested in studying fields related to political science. Candidates for the vice-presi dency of the IRC are Mary Kim and George Passes. Susan Freeman is running on a "yes-no" ballot for secretary. For treasurer Jamie Ma thews and Long Vu are running. Remember that this Thursday, Friday and Saturday are non-cut days before Vacation. The three days after vacation, March 24, 25, and 26 are also non-cut days. O'Boy, I'm rushing to the polls. All us intelligent college students ought'a vote.
