The championship games ended a successful season of intramu ral basketball. Last Wednesday, Heaven's Seven challenged the Men's Faculty in a fun game. Heaven's Seven emerged the winner, making them the indisputed champions. The intramural softball season began yesterday, March 22, with seven women's teams and nine men's teams involved. Sche dules may be picked up at the gym. All the games will be played at New Garden Field on weekday afternoons at 3:30, 4:30, and 5:30. The games will be five innings using regulation slowpitch softball rules. Each team must play with a minimum of seven players or a maximum of ten. Raindates will be on Sunday afternoons and any team with two forfeits is disqualified from league play. The regular season final standings deter mines the league champion ship. The intramural committee hopes that the team spirit and enthusiasm that was shown in intramural basketball will continue through the softball season.
