March 29,1978 Announcements A session on acupuncture and acupressure will be held from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, April 17, in Founders Hall at Guilford College. The public is invited without charge. The program will open with a 22-minute film, Introduction to Acupuncture, to be followed by a panel discussion and questions and asnwers period. Panel members, all of whom have seen acupuncture and acupressure practiced in China and Japan, will be Lois Ann Hobbs; Dr. Ted Benfey, Dana Professor of Chemistry and History of Science; and Dr. Ed Burrows, professor of history and non-Western studies. Gellert Modos was born in Budapest, Hungary. He began his studies at the age of 5 and in 1965 and 1967, he won the gold medal in the international piano competition in Vercelli, Italy and then began perform ing concerts in the major cities of Europe. He came to the United States in 1971 and is currently artist in residence at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois.
