The first recipient of the Crownfield Prize will present a paper in a public lecture this coming Wednesday afternoon (4-26) at 4:00 p.m. in the Gallery. This prize, a gracious gift of Frederic and Margaret Crownfield, who were for many years, respectively. Chairman of the Department of Religion and Craven Professor of Biblical Literature and Religion, and Secretary to former President Milner, is awarded annually beginning this year for the best paper written in Religious Studies. We are pleased that the Crownfields will be able to return to Guilford for this lecture. Good pay, good hours, good times. Roy IMydorf had a print accepted by the jury of the LaGrange National IV Exhibi tion in LaGrange, Georgia. The Jury Committee Included the Director of the Columbus Museum of Art, members of the Art and Art History Depart ment of Emory University, Georgia State University, LaGrange College, and Nexus Gallery in Atlanta. He also had a painting accepted for the Springfest Art Exhibition in Old Greensborough, to be held this weekend, April 22 and 23. The Facilities Committee will hold an Open Meeting on Tuesday, April 25, at 4:00 p.m., in the Board Room, New Garden Hall, to consider housing for Computer Terminals. All members of the faculty, the administra tion, and the student body are invited to attend the meeting. The College News Bureau needs one or more students to do photography and darkroom work during the 1978-79 academic year. Must qualify for work/study. Can work up to 15 hours per week, depending on student's schedule and availability. Film, chemicals, printing paper provided for News Bureau assignments. Barber- Scotia has also requested that Guilford College serve as the Assisting Institution for the Expanding Computer Instruc tion program of a Basic Institutional Development Program.
