Deadline: October 31 CONTEST RULES AND RESTRICTIONS: 1. Any student is eligible to submit his verse. 2. All entries must be original and unpublished. 3. All entries must be typed, double-spaced, on one side of the page only. Each poem must be on a separate sheet and must bear, in the upper left hand corner, the NAME and ADDRESS of the student as well as the COLLEGE attended. Put name and address on envelope also! 4. There are no restrictions on form or theme. Length of poerm up to fourteen lines. Each poem must have a separate title. (Avoid "Untitled"!) Small black and white illustrations welcome. 5. The judges' decision will be final. No info by phone! 6. Entrants should keep a copy of all entries as they cannot be returned. Prize winners and all authors awarded free publication will be notified immediately after deadline. LP. will retain first publication rights for accepted poems. Foreign language poems welcome. 7. The Biophile Club has a trailer full of aluminum cans and newspapers ready to be recycled. They need a pick-up truck in order to haul it to the recycling center. Items in storage in Binford Basement must be marked, claimed and registered with the coordinator by September 14, or they will be sold or thrown away. Binford coordinator office hours are 2-3 p.m. Students completing teacher preparation programs and ad vanced degree candidates in specific fields may take the National Teacher Examinations on any of three different test dates in 1979-80. Educational Testing Service will administer the tests on November 10, 1979, February 16, 1980 and July 19, 1980. Women s Center holds forums This fall the Women's Center is sponsoring a series of forums on women's issues. The forums will be held in the Gallery on Sunday afternoons at 4 p.m. and are open to the public. Refreshments will be served. The forums will be informal to allow audience participation. Part of the purpose of this series is to encourage the sharing of experiences and ideas. Below is the Women's Forum schedule. Mark your calendars!
