NEW COURSE -- PE 100:
FOLKDANCING-Maclnnes.
During this course we will learn
a number of dances which
emphasize man as a part of
nature. Dances will be taken
from many cultures and times,
with about half the time spent
on Morris and sword dances
from 16th and 17th century
England, France, and Spain.
Folkdancing can be learned by
people with more than one left
foot and is fun. Come learn an
activity which can be done by all
ages, indoors and out, in all
types of weather, and by all
cultures.
A Ted Kennedy Rally will be
held at New York Pizza (corner
of Tate and Walker near UNC-
G) Sunday, November 18, from
3-5 p.m. all supporters are
welcome.

nett Department of Music, in a
program of music for clarinet
and piano. Their program will
include works by Schumann,
von Weberm, Mendelssohn,
and Robert Starer, and they will
be assisted by Blonnie Tipton,
trumpet, Chelsea Tipton 11, cla
rinet, and Forrest Munden,
trombone. An informal recep
tion is planned afterward.
THE 400 BLOWS, a moving
story of a young boy turned
outcast, will be the Tuesday
night movie at 8:15 p.m. in
Dana Auditorium. This is the
autobiography of Truffaut's
childhood. Not loved at home or
wanted at school, he sinks into a
private and fugitive existence
that leads to reform school.
