One girl was about to shower when a male visitor sneaked in the bathroom. That same night he was also seen in rooms in Mary Hobbs. Binford's coordinators, Carey and Julie Ritmeester, called the police. It was agreed that the police would be called again if any of the peeping toms were seen again. Days later the visitors returned. This time three of them were caught. The man who entered the bathroom was arrested, and all of them were ordered never to return to Guilford's campus. One of the visitors was sched uled for trial for armed robbery, and another had been charged with rape, yet had gotten off on a technicality.
