Alumni Day 'BO By Marilyn Harris Staff Writer Guilford College alumni shar ed "their" day with the com munity last Saturday, March 29. Alumni Day 'BO officially began at 10 a.m. with the opening of the Craft Fair in Sternberger Auditorium, and the start of the men's tennis team match with Cornell University. The events of the day includ ed The Big Sky mountain sin gers and doggers from Warren Wilson College, the Guilford College Folk Dancers, a work shop on building hammered dolcimers with Jerry Read Photo by Brian Carey Promenade! The bricks and cement of Founders patio area resounded with the clogging and music of "The Blue Sky," a group from Warren Wilson College. Smith, two tennis matches, a lacrosse match, and a baseball game. Later on that evening, there was a Guilford College Art Series presentation in Dana Auditorium, featuring folk sin ger Jean Ritchie and David Holt, a performer and director with the Appalachian Music Program at Warren Wilson College. While sharing most of "their" day with the communi ty, alumni also attended a private awards luncheon and several class reunions.
