Applica Fund lobbying update About a month ago, several students including myself, at tended the National Student Lobby Day in Washington to lobby financial aid. While we were there, we were informed of the proposed budget cuts and then urged to return to Guilford to initiate original action. This feeling was particularly ex pressed by Congressmen and Senators who said that they were not hearing from those who would be the most affected: students. For this reason, the Com munity Senate has decided to undertake a project which will get our Community involved.
