UNC-G's first and second an
nual Jitters Jogs were held on a
course laid out around campus as
part of the Spring Fling weekend.
There were 109 and 179 entrants
respectively. The title of the race,
contributed by Dr. Lois An
dreasen of the Dance faculty, was
chosen to highlight the value of
physical activity in coping with
stress that students, faculty and
the general public feel at this
time of year.
This year's event is sponsored
by UNC-G's Division of Campus
Recreation, Elliott University
Center Council and Pepsi Cola
Bottling Co. of Greensboro. The
Jitters Jog will consist of a 2 mile
fun run and a 5 mile run. The run
is free for UNC-G students, facul

participation fee is $3.00 before
April 12, $5.00 thereafter. Pro
