"Football can be a pathetic way
for a bunch of guys to feel like they
are a part of something. They sit
around and use words that anyone
who doesn't play football doesn't
understand, just so they will feel
better about themselves" - Jamie
Risser, first year
"Football is a great sport. Never
in life has there been such a way
to bring together a group of people
who know nothing about each
other and form life-long friends
and brothers. I know that it seems
like we separate ourselves, but an
important part of football is being
a team. Just as people of the same
race tend to circulate within them
selves, so so does the football
team. It's like a family. I feel com
fortable around all 70 of my broth
ers. And, I'm damned proud to be
a part of the team." -Lamont Will

player
"I know that the lockers are be
