V Ken Glardon New soccer coach fitting in fine ROB MIRCHIN sports editor Ken Glardon, Guilford's new women's soccer coach, seems to be quite comfortable in his role. Coach Glardon thinks the soc cer team is shaping up nicely. He thinks they will be better than last year and that they are pretty good as is. Glardon said that there is a "good core of returning players." The coach also thinks that the Susan Allen/The Guilfordian team's greatest challenge will be "improving the defense and build ing confidence." Glardon believes in a flexible and open-minded philosophy of coaching. Glardon's hobbies include mu sic and writing. He says that he has made an okay transition to life on the Guilford campus.
