Monday, February 26 11:30 am: Field trip to Yadkin County Amish settle "Recyclables" Aluminum: All beverage cans must be clean and dry. Cardboard: All colors and types of unwaxed and uncoated corrugated cardboard accepted. Must be clean and dry. Glass: All colors, shapes and sizes accepted Remove lids and caps. Must be clean and dry. Magazines: Must be dry and bundled in string or a brown papa bag. Newspapers: All types, includ ing The Guilfordian. Must be dry and bundled in string or brown pa per bags. Office paper: Includes white, colored, green-bar, envelopes, post it notes, card stock, file folders, and NCR paper. Dry bundles preferable to loose quantities. Plasties: Wash and dry and re move all tops. Plastics coded PETE-1, HDPE-2, PVC-3, or PS are acceptable. Plastic bags, as well as packing materials (e.g. packag ing peanuts) aren't recyclable. Steel: Steel/tin cans must be dry, clean, and wrapped with a bow on top. The detached lids aren't re cyclable. - ALICE REID office manager ment.
