Theresa El-Amin from the Southern Anti- Racism Network will be putting on this interactive work shop about community organizing of anti-sweatshop ordinances. Nov. 29 7 p.m. in Founders Gallery. Light & Shadow: A Storyteller's Journey in Africa. Connie Regan-Blake, a professional storyteller, will tell stories from her trip to Uganda and the "Beads for Life" program will be featured. "Beads for Life" is a non-profit organization helping women support themselves and their families through the making and selling of beads. Beads will be available for purchase at the event.
