Frosh and Juniors Tie Hockey Game On Tuesday, November 28, the freshmen and the juniors came out with the sun of the week to play the second game of the hockey tourn ament which was tied up with the score 3-3. During the -first half, the juniors overcame lack of team practice and carried the ball into the freshman cage three times in succession, Ann Dysart accounting for two; Nell Griffin one. However in the second half, the freshmen took over, and the greenies, led by Mary Holt Hill in outer forward position, tied up the score in quick order. The game ended with the juniors on the frosh goal line, but a hard drive knocked the ball across the play line just outside the cage much to frosh re lief. Lois Wooten and Peg Withering ton were the blocking backs for the juniors, while frosh captain Isabelle Leeper with Helen Spruill and Jane Jeter kept the juniors looking for the ball. This was the second game for the freshmen who were defeated by the mighty sophomores by a score of 2-1. In regard to the juniors, they are right where they started. Since this is the fir.'it game for the juniors, it all adds up to this: if the sophs can beat the juniors, they’re the champs. ' What about the seniors? Well!
