It had been a wonderful suc- cess-this Salem vs Davidson Day. Salem will go down in history this year in the Davidson idea of a good time. The softball game, with Page Jackson and Bill Johnson leading the two teams, was mucho fun .for all. Everybody 'played whole-heart- edly and the rest of the gals and guys were rooting liard and loud on the gym steps. After the thrilling game came a very appetizing supper on the hocky field. Everybody ate and ate until they couldn’t eat any more. (Weren’t the brownies good?) About 8:30 p. m. the two dances were going strong. The square dance seemed to be more popular and then the gang came on down to the Club Dining Room for the round dancing. Did you see Jo Pat jitterbugging? Boy, she was the best she’s ever been. Jean and Page looked mighty cute together, as they always do. The other Dungan daughter was having a grand time with “Wes”!
