Tf you have not bought your long, summer formal, you should have j been interested in Julia Parker’s j strapless checker-board blue and yellow pure silk organza. Organza is also worn beautifull}' to teas and afternoon parties all summer, and. Anne Carrington wore hers ■with a lovely hat of veil and flowers. Car- roll Johnson wore white organdy with a hand painted flower motif on the full skirt. Betty Kincaid was both sophisti cated and charming in her picture hat of black straw and. black linen dress worn under a striped knitted bolero jacket and styled by Helene of California. Just picture vpur- self walking down the broad ave nues of Paris in the outfit! An other suggestion for summer even ings at home or abroad was Betty Griffin’s navy gorgette that was tucked from the shoulder to ielow the waist graduating into a soft fullness in the skirt. You could just see those lucky girls who have June wedding plans, casting admiring glances at the bri dal sets that were shown ! Models for these sets were Sue Stowers, Connie Neiman, and Lucy Harper. Jane Fearing and Joyce White hurst showed what th,e bridesmaids would wear. B. J.
