I, Cindy Shell, being of sound
mind and body, do hereby bequeath
a hotpot and my Pro-Chpice bumper
sticker (ha!) to my dear, tolerant
roommate Cathi. Best wishes to
Michelle J. and Sarah D. and
another iroiungboard evening. To
Carol I leave a place to visit. I also
leave my professors and friends
many thanks for teaching me to
think, and allowing me to grow.
I, Jill Starling, being of sound
mind and body, do hereby bequeath
to the cross-country team a map of
the race course so none of you will
ever get lost during a race! To Betsy
Van B, I leave an open invitation to
visit me an UNC. Good luck at
Salem. I hope you love Salem as
much as I have. To Dansalems, I
leave a blank check so you can
purchase all the bright and wild
costumes you want. I have had a
great four years!
I, Kathiyn Swing, being of sound
mind (don't even say it, Laura!) and
body, do hereby bequeath the
following; to Laura N. and
Michelle I leave behind the many
memories of the Pit and Corbins
(hope you can make it back there
sometime in the near future
Michelle!!). I also leave behind
the things for ya'll to steal — you
better be careful!! I also leave an
endless supply of beanie weanies
for late nights (I'll be sure to stock
my apartment next year!!) Laura, I
leave you a recording contract...sing
our song well!! I also leave you
both a gift certificate at a men's
clothing store, please buy John some
new clothes!!! I also leave you
another weekend at Bud Fest, the
capability to deal with all the
rednecks and a pmro/boxing gloves
to wear when you go out at night!!
Laura, don't anybody up!!
Lastly, I leave you both two more
great years here at Salem, take
advantage and have a blast. I'll
miss ya'll a lot, but remember I'll
still be here so you better come
visit. I love ya'll!! To Gaither I
leave many more nights at the Pit
along with the conversations we
had while we were there. You
enlightened me and gave me
insight into interesting topics and
had the right answers to all my
"questions." Keep the tradition
going and remember..."Never say
Never!!!" I love you little nerd and
will miss you next year. To Lara I
leave you my identity for future use
and all the wonderful times we've
had. Thanks for being a wonderful
little sister and for all the smiles
that cheered me up or let me know
what a special friend you are. I
love you and will miss you lots! To

to stay next year, and last but
certainly not least...my
intelligence!!!! Thank you for
helping me make my senior year
one I'll never forget. You've been a
wonderful friend and little sister.
Make the most of these next two
years and have a great time doing

Kathie White - the ability to be a

admissions staff!) To Tricia I leave
lucky #7 Sisters with all of her
creaks, cracks, and character. To
Camille Flippin, leave lots of
enthusiasm to undertake her
student teaching and her senior
year. To Mary Alston, I leave You
many more fun stays at the Town
and Country Hotel (and the
mystery man in the bed!!!) To
Joanna May, I can only hope that
her bright and cheerful face will
greet others as she has greeted me.
To Kristy Royall, I leave more fun
visits to Goldsboro! To Kelly
Radcliff, I leave good stories about
dates! To Laura Franklin, I leave
best wishes for a successful year as
CAC Chairman. To Mindy
McLarty, I leave a big hug, and big
dreams and can only hope you enjoy
your last year at Salem as much as I
have. And to Dr. Booth (remember
you can't hide from me!) I leave
lots of smiles and laughter and a
few feathers... Thanks so very
much for all your help, guidance,
and advice! To Salem College, I
leave the very best four years of my
life. You've given me the chance to
grow and learn, the ability to fall
and jump right up and brush it off,
and most of all I leave thanks for
giving me the best of friends
(Christy, Julie, Heather, Kristen,
Strat, and Siri), I'll NEVER forget
you, nor will I forget my senior year
in Sisters Dorm...All you guys are
the BEST!!!
