WATSON, ROCKY MOUNT, NORTH CAROLINA; "Bulk tobacco curing is going to enable us to change the faces of the tobacco farms in the South. This change in principle is bound to bring change in our way of thinking and our wa\’ of farming. Our young farm boys and girls of today are ready for this change. Agriculture in the South must lead the whole economic development in order to attract the young people of this age. Bulk curing of tobacco is the first step toward making this great and necessary change. We must accept the challenge! It is the responsibility of the farmers and agricultural leaders to see that the tobacco farm of the South has a complete new face. This is the only way to improve the economy of the tobacco fanner.” ; • • • 1 % > V \ «•'« ) • •- V- Eight pack house racks loaded on truck ready to go to pack house.
