After all if jife do not know how to conduct oiirse If properly, an education will not do us much good. Last month the conduct grades were lower than they should have been. Perhaps it was because we had not got settled back in the regular school'routine.■ I'm afraid though, it was principally carelessness and forgetfulness on our part. Remember also that our atti tude tov;ard work, classmates, and teachers, as well as school spirit, are' included in our con duct grades. If we are a lit tle more thoughtful this month, I am sure that there will be a great ■ improvement in everybody's grade, and a better cooperative spirit will develop bet^veen teachers and students* ONE FOR ALL, ALL FOR ONE To feel that our efforts at publishing a newspaper has the interest of the merchants of Bailey and V/Hson makes our struggles appear not in vain. Then we of the staff of this paper wish to express our thanks to all those who have helped in the promotion of this paper by advertising through its coluims. Especially are we proud of the interest shown by Mr. Preston Pinch by his full page ad given for each months We would like to ask that all students, teach ers, and perents make their pur chases, whenever possible, with those friends. If the publi cation of our paper is dependent upon their cooperation, certain ly their success in turn is de pendent upon our purchases from themp We feel indebted, toq to Rachel Bissette, Esther Plnda, Jack Parmer, Isabelle Vick, Sid ney Jones, and Maebelle Bissette for presenting our cause and need to those firms sO’ effective ly. .SUPPORT YOUR BASICST-BALL TEAM As almost everyone knows, a game can be played better when the members of the team feel they are supported by a spirit of gen uine interest. And from where does this interest come? Prom the crowd that attend the game. If the crowd is not,at the game, the spirit is not, and the elay- ing is not at its best. Is a wter basket-ball team our goal this year? Then we must^i^ attaid the games and bring our friend s also. Attend home games by all means; and, if possible, go with the team to opposing schools.
