The progr'xm on Ilonday is on "Farm Forestry", which is a continu ation of tho previou3 program giv en by tho Bailey Chapter, Tho boys participating on tho program Monday arc James Brown, Henry Earl Glover, Clarence Newsome, E, C, Griffin,Jr., Louis Bissotto, and Horace High, were given to four menbors of tho chapter who are taking cnroofthom according to approved practices* In return from each gilt tho chap- t'jr will rocoivo two pigs at wean ing time* These eight pigs will be given to other members on the same plan or sold. The aim of tMs project is to encourage the esteb- lishnent of better livestock anthe farms. The chapter has also as - sis ted six adult farmers in the community in securing pure b r ed. Thirteen members of the chapt er have secured pure bred swine of the following broods: six Spotted Po land China, one Black Poland China, one Hampshire, and fivo Durocs.Ihe boys having pure bred swino - are Thomas Finch, E, C, Griffin, Jr., Harold Cooper, Carson Wynne,Rich ard Stott, Marvin Brown, Charie s Morgan, Clyde Finch, Jack Farm e r, Russoll Jornigan, Garland Pace, James Brown, •■;nd Harland Perry, Thero are fourteen members who have swine projects that are not pure bred.
