ENTERTAIN SENIORS AT ANNUAL BANQUET ESTHER FINCH IS VALEDICTORIAN Esther “Finch during her f our years in high school has done such creditable work that she-leads the class in scholastic attainment and thereby wins the honor of valedic torian for the calss of *41. As a close run up is Rachel Bissette,who becomes salutatorian of the class. To add still further to the feeling that all were on tho sea of piracy the juniors would at times ring the halls with their pirate songs mingled with the menu consisting of pirates' special dishes--molted gold, stolen booty, treasure salad, pirates’ swords/ and buccaneers I brow,Members of tho Woman's Club served the banquet, CIIRISTINE TURNAGE ACTS AS >TOAST- MISTRESS Tho toast-mistress. Miss Chris — tine Turnago,with an air of simpli - city and grace made everyone foolat oaso. At the close of tho banquet tho toast-mistross announced that t ho seniors wer o to bo tho guests of tho juniors a t a tho atro party at tho Nash Theatre in Spring Hope whero Bob Crosbyjn "Let’s Mako MucJic," was playing.
