After viewing the campus and buildings along v/ith five thousand other seniors,they witnessed with interest Stat e beat Newberry 45 to 0. LOW PER CENT OF STUDENTS SUBSCRIBE TO PAPER Out of an enrollment of over 500 students in the Bailey High School only 110 sub scribe to the school paper, Bailey Buglo. or a little over one fifth of tho pupils subscribe to tho paper Honors go to the 12th grade for a percentage of 70, the highest per centage of any room subscribing. Miss Lackey's . room, the tenth grade,leads in number with 22 sub scribers out of 39 . Only one-third of the eleventh grade class are subscribers. Mrs. Murray reported that #7 worth of forks has been bought for tho lunch room, Mrs.Iifur- ray further stated that some more spoons wore needed, as added equipment would pre vent dishwashing dur ing tho lunch hour. BAILEY HIGH OB SERVES BOOK WEEK November 5-8,was na tional Book Week,sot aside to further the individual's knov;ledge of books and to crcato interest in reading. This year's theme , 'Forward Y/ith Books", v;as carried out in tho English department of Bailey High School by moans of informative posters, thcn.es, and oral talks.
