Lamm, secretary and treasurer, the Sr. 4 H Club is on its way to a successful year* The County Achievement | Day was held at I'lash-j ville December 6. I As the selection ofj projects demands con centration, all mem bers have not yet chosen theirs. Christ mas decorations were discussod at the last meeting, NEW PLAYS ARRIVE FOR STUDY Mr. Morgan's dramatic club continued study ing the make-up kit throughout November. At the last two meet ings Mr, Morgan dis cussod different poems and essays. Three now ’oocks of plays have arrived and the club plans to begin a study of those plays at the next meeting. Journalism Club Evaluates Paper COMMERCIAL DEPT. REPORTS NEWS The' Commercial Club met Thursday December 4. A lesson on stencil cutting was given.Each member had practice in cutting stencils. The cormercial ‘club pins have arrived,They are in school 'colors, green and gold, with the typewriter symbol in the center of the design. Pins will bo avmrded to any typing student who can typo 40 words per minute with not more than 5 errors, for ton minutes* The mem’oers visers of the their papers and gain publicity, and perhaps win recognition for creditable work* To gain good standing in this contost the paper must attain cer tain goals as found on the contest score card. The staff can not at tain these goals v;ith- out knowing'what tho school likes, dislike^ v;ants, and expects in its paper. All helpful or critical points that v;ill improve tho paper will be appre ciated states tho ed- itDJU— First Aid Club Continues Body Study Por the past months - there have been three meetings' in the first aid club. The discus sion has included the reaction of the heart, the 'system of the blood,and tho conclus ion of the bone study.
