The girls’ game was a thriller. Those fast- stepping six from Bai ley were never off guard. Estella Eatraon tossed in 17 points to lead the team to a 31- 15 victory, Abernathy scorod 9 points for the losers. The Bailey boys made up for their losses of last year by rallying to a 24-13 win over tho I'lashville quintet. L. Bissotto scorod 11 points for Bailey and Porrell scorod 7 for ITashvillo. H. Perry and J. Farm er wore runner-ups in scoring for Bailey. Teble Reedy Tennis Soon A table tennis sot purchased early last spring v.’ill soon be available for use by interested students. Plans arc being made to play this game in T Bali Upon Patrons Due to recent tire rationing many people are reluctant to use tneir cars in carrying players to and from games. Unless many volunteer to make at least one trip,we will not bo able to finish this season’s sc ho dale. There arc not but six moro games away from Bailey and ttiroe cars are needed for each of these trips. I cjn sure there are enough peo ple interested in "tho tco::is of this school to volunteer to go to one game away from homo if not more. Hr, V/alker and Hr* Rogers cannot be ex pected to drive their cars all the time , Their tires will not last forever, so come onl rill w^ho \/ill and take players to at least one game.
