Looking down the hall, about tv;o thirds of the students look like boys until we notice the red finger nails, (riding pants fad.) Boys take a tip from Jack Parmer and have your hair cut in the latest style, "Jap- Sham ." Comments were favor able in regard to the plot and acting abili ty of the players. and ?/hy were certain ten th grade girls so set on having a dance v/hcn I'll bet half of them can’t even shake a leg. Did you■ see, of all things, the twelfth graders come out of the building last dur ing ■ the first fire drill. Eighth graders com plain of seeing spots before their eyes. G'?ay onesl Somehow it doesn't seem just right not to see Maebelle r.round anymore. We miss her two-wheel antics v;ith her bus. Miss Helen Privette recently resigned as music teachor at Bai - ley High School to take up duties as an army hostess at Port Bragg, North Carolina. Miss Privette will be succeeded by Miss Mabel Lewis, librarian of the Bailey Commun ity Library. Mrs.Lewis plans to continue her position as well as to tcach the young people piano lessons.
