March 15. 1942 Bailey Bugle Enters State-WIDE Contest Copies of the BAILEY BUGLE v/111 be sent soon to Chapel Hill to be judged and criti cised in a state-v/ide contest of North Caro lina high school pap ers . Nev/s values, editor ial values, general make-up,and typograph ical .v/ork are judged. In addition copies of the BAILEY BUGLE have been entered in two other contests. One, a nation-wide contest, is to be hold_ in New York in March’. An other, dealing only with southern papors, will be hold at -.-Eitvory University, Atlanta, Georp;ia. Dr~ Dsniels Advise In ansv;or to a re quest from one of tho editors of tho BAILEY BUGLE, DR.L.S. DANIELS of Bailey has prepared tho follovifing program for healthful living. HYGIENIC PROGRAM 1. DIET At least one pint of milk daily. At least three large servings of groons (cookod or uncooked) in a week. Fresh fruit once a day. Somo- vegetable other than potatoes every day. Some- food nocossi- tating mastication every meal. Eating no food be- ASST.
