To Hold Federation Meeting At the first meeting of thb year three boys v/ere elected to attend a county meeting com posed of three dele gates from each voca tional department,Del egates from this chap ter are Louis B.issette^ Horace High, and.Rich* ard Stott, The purpose of this meeting is to elect o3? ficors,,plan a program o-c wo3f»k, and onixmernt« ! The Bailey Agricul ture Department rates first place in dis trict one, composed of sixty-one departments. Out of a possible 1800 points based upon pre paration for instruct ion, enrollment, sup ervised practice, farm shop, F.F.A, publicity^ professional improve ment, physical equip ment, and reports,this chapter scored 1624. Mr. Tapp believes that the pride felt as a result of this re cord will encourage increased efforts. WAR CLASSES OPEN FOR ADULTS ABOVE 17 A rural war production training program v/ill be offered again this year, •in addition to the types of courses taught last year there will be ten special courses available. The special courses for men and women over 17 and out of school include repair, operation, and care of farm machinery and equipment. This course requires 36 hours instruction within a period of 6 weeks* The following courses require 20 hours in- a list of activities struction that each chapter will do. As a result of this meeting, it is hoped that Nash County will have the best fedr eration in the dis trict. The Bailey chapter is sending Richard Stott to run for president of the federation. The F.
