Offense is ex pected to center a- round Louis Bissette and Holland Perry, ve terans of last year, Harold Cooper, Horace High, Hillard Lamm, and Bobby Stott are others-who will carry tlio liurdoii tills year. Fob the duration of the war the state is requiring the schools to introduce a physi cal education program into their curriculuma Plans are being made in Bailey school for a program such as this. Vifhen the regular sche dule is resumed, tho activity period will be used three times a group to work v;ith this year. Most of the team will come from the junior class, Maude Lev/is and Melba Jean Stott are expect ed to hold main posi tions at t'forward, while Romaine Perry, Rosanna Jones, and Re- la Mae Pinch, a se nior, will hold main guard positions, A great team is expected from these players and others coming ticc«■ Let' s gether who v/ill be out for prac- all and work boost to- THEM, WE week for this course. It will count one-half credit and all r^iigh school students v/ill be required to take it. In addition to the physical training this offers, it also gives students a chance to add or make up a half unit or credit. County PIan No Schedule For Year Although there is a shortage of gas,tires, and sports equipment due to the v/ar effort, there will be basket ball at Bailey High School this year. There v;ill be no com plete county schedule as in the past, but jBailey will play j schools up and down I the railroad.
