Styles Ain’t
Styles No More"
” Any tiling. can: Jaappen".
is the motto of the
fashion orginators _ in
and around Bailey High
this year. The current
fad is to wear plaid
shirts,in or out% Kore
important is that the
shoulder seam comes
do\vn over the shoulder
and the colors are
bright.As a result the
rural girls better
stay away from cov/ pas
tures.
Serving in two res-
pects--they can be
worn as sviToaters over
waists or simply as
waists—their appeal
is making the girls
"go-out" for shirts.
Envious glances direct
ed at those now -being
worn signify more
plaid shirts sooner or
later,probably sooner.
Notice—don’t bo sur
prised when boys start
wearing ribbons .S. L«P*

P/ease?
At recess any student
not desiring to be
quized by a "bunch" of
paper workers had
better disappear. Dan
gling a piece of paper
and pencil, the jour
nalism students parade
the halls seeking in
formation .
Although many don’t
approve of being asked
thier hobby , and simi
lar inquiries, almost
everyone will be ques
tioned by the end of
the year. It’s a case
of creating interest
in the school paper,
not curiosity, F,J»
