Children Work
On Progrann
We began working on
our P. T, A. Christmas
program this week.
Several children have
recitations and we are
learning new songs.
Every child has a part
in the program. We
want every mother and
father to bring their
child and help them
enjoy the program.

did for us.
We thank our grade-

giving Party Wednesday

ner on Thursday.

to see us Thursday af
ternoon. They brought
us apples, oranges,
and grapes. We all
enjoyed it so much.

IMPRCVEMENTS MADE
IN OUR ROOM
Donald Barnes and
Earl Manning brought
tv;o gourds, Mr. Tapp
cut them so we could
plant flowers in them.
Miss Thompson bought
us some paint and v;e
painted the gourds and
a fev/ jars red.
Wo had two orange
crates. Owen brought
us another. We put
the three together and
painted them, How we
have a nice cabinet
for our supplies.
Our' table was too
long, Mr. Walker cut
it off for us and wo
painted it,

WINKIE WAS FOUND
Lamar found a kitten
in a ditch The kit
ten was hungry and
hurt, so Lamar brought
him to school, Sammy
found a box for him,
I Fanny Lou gave him
I some 'of her milk to
drink,
After the class de
cided to keep the kit
ten, they named it
Winkie,
