It is reported that so many honors have been won by her that it was necessary to give up some of them in order to meet the regula tions established by the point system of the college. MARKS UNDERWOOD has been chosen as a dele gate from Davidson Col lege to go to Duke Uni versity for the Youth, Conf3renco . IRIS PEARSOU, after be ing ill for sometime has returned to the Medical College of Vir ginia, Richmond, to complete her final year of studying be fore becoming a grad uate nurse. HELEE JORDAN is now working with the Vvrights ’ Automatic Ma chinery Company in Dur ham t This Company was recently taken over by the Navy for the build ing of ship parts. Her v/ork is so tedious that it- must be cor rect to the degree of one-tv/o hxmdreths of a thousandth of an inch. CHRISTINE TURNAGE holds a position as messenger at the Mar ine base at Cherry Point, North Carolina. W. S. HIGH, employed by the Martin Airplane Factory in Baltiitiore, Maryland, spent a ViToek at homo recently. He is expecting to be called- into active ser vice soon.
