A. av/ard have been received from former *• teachers. Miss Ursula Carr and Mrs. Irvin Jackson, the former Miss Josephine Puller, RED CROSS quota for the Bailey community was $400. It was reached after three v/eeks of campaigning. ELEVEN boys in Bailey High School took the Army and Navy Aptitude test April 1, BOOKS for soldiers are being collected by the senior class victory corps. Mr. Waters Speaks To Seniors NAVY: Harold Blssette--Chlef Petty Officer Mr. Waters, a profes sor at Atlantic Chris tian College, in V/ilson, recently talked with the graduating class in Bailey High School. His topic v;as "V/hat do you intend to do after graduating from high school?" Among his suggestions he advised, "Further your education by at tending a good college and thereby preparing yourself for a happy and full life in the future". He reminded the stu dents that the war \;as not going to last for ever and that they must look beyond the iriimediate present.
