Patsy Ruth Eatmon
reached over and de
liberately slapped on
the shoulder Florence
Joyner, Florence only
shrugged and gave
Patsy a questioning
look; but when Patsy
repeated the slap,
Florence leaned over
and raised her hand to
strike back.
On second thought,
however Florence
smiled at Patsy and
said, ’’Thank you,
/ Patsy”.
Just in the nick of
time Florence remem
bered the request made
to her classmates
earlier in the day
when she announced
that she would need
their aid in carrying
out her home project--
breaking the habit of
biting her fingernails.

of the present, acute
shortage? They. ' are
three in number. 1.
Millions of paperboai’d
containers are being
sent overseas to our

ests and by a steady
decline in the amount
of pulpwood available
from Canc.cla and other
countries. 3. Another
reason for the short
age is the fact that
paper is actually
