In winter stand bloak, bare, and apparently dead. Spring sees thoin renovifing our faith in life as they burst into foliage and blos som. Our coats arc drawn tight, for the wind is severe; soon the sun will cause us to shod them. On dark, gloomy, and rainy days the sxin hides behind the clouds, peeping through just long enough to bring us the rainbow. Rain storm bring in their wake flov^ers and refreshed crops. At night the smi goes to sleep so that the moon and stars may have an op- portuiiity to display their beauty to the v/orld. Yes, for all the ugly thoro is beauty. R.L. MRS. LASSITER: You had better put a stopper in it thoni BAILEY BUGLE Church Honors Boys Ir^Arrved Services In honor of the boys in the armed forces that are raembo^rs of the Bailey Liothodist Church, the I.Iission- ary Societies of the church have donated a plaque bearing the names of the 37 boys. Three Boy Scouts hung the ROLL OP HONOR in the church whore it 10 ''I V'n.-tv.'- 'ti 1 '-i J'..' can bo seen all entering. For the memorial sor- vico the church was cocoratcd with flowers given by the florist of Wilson and by friends. The presentation v/as made by Mrs, J, P. Undorwood and Mr. R, M. Moacomes.
