SUITS Suits add groat variety to the v/ard- robo. They can be worn with different blouses and sweaters to make • them look entirely dif ferent. Suits of gab- ■ardine, men • s-vifear- vworstod, tweed, twill, soft cropcs, and faille are tho most widely used raaterials. DATE DRESSES Drosses made with scooped, square, and ■high nocks, cap and slightly puffed sleeves, woskit waist- • lino, and soft draping .skirts are to bo worn for dates. HATS Dutch bonnets, berets, and halfhats aro the loading hats of 1944. ACCESSORIES Accessories for tho costuiiio are to be mostly white. SHOES ' The loading shoos aro sandals of black patent leather, clear 'brown, and v/hite. COLORS Yollow, gold, tan gerine, reds, spring .greens, lilacs, blues, cocoa-brown, pinks, and pale coral arc the loading colors, HANDKERCHIEFS Handkerchiefs are going to bo small and colorful. ■Oresseci Girl This Spring Girls PrefDaretunches In order to learn more about planning, cooking, and serving l-unches, the first year home economics prepared Ixaiichos. Second period hvane economics girls worked out tho follov/ing menu: scallopv^d pot atoes, muffins, apple salad, lemonade, and cream pie. Meat loaf, cranrii of tomato soup, scall>vpod potatoes, orange and grapefruit salad, muffins, lemon ade, and tapioca pud ding v/as planned by the third period girls Sophs Have Picnic After finishing the study of packing a school lunch, tho so phomore girls had a picnic at He a c oriio ’ s Park last v/eek.
