ACHIEVEI/IENT TESTS for elementary grades will be given in schools all over the county, April the twenty-fifth. THE BAILEY BUGLE has increaaod its circula tion by ty/o hundred copies tills month be cause of the Senior edition. S, lusc.w, county supcrintc/ndcnt, and Dr, Jacocks, state health director, came to Bailey this month and presented the op portunity for six teachers, tliree from high school and three from the elementary department, to attend the six weeks health conferences thin sum mer at Greensboro or Chapel Hill, Included courses v;lll be Personal Health GR.hOTHERS TO GRADUATE .WITH SENIORS Vlhen the present sen ior class was in the first grade, Mrs. H, Griffin and I.Irs. A, B, Corbett wore chosen as grademothers, These two women have served in capacity the eleven school, u3 a part of their class day exorcise , the seniors plan to pay s-pecial honor to the grademothers. this same throughout years of Problems, School and Community Health Prob lems, Methods and Ma terials in Health Ed ucation, and Child Health Problems, Half of the expenses of those attending will be paid by the state; the county hopes to pay the other half. Expecting to enroll from here v/ill be Miss Jewel . Langley, Miss Melba Martin, and Mr. M, VV, Weaver fcr the high scliool unit. To date Miss Grace Ross is the only elementary representative enroll ed. Next fall. ■ tboae teachers will aid in health activities in nearby schools.
